I am probably the worst in the world at keeping up on this blog. We have done so much in the last few months it was overwhelming to think about blogging it all. This will probably be a really long post and I won't post very many pictures from each place we went (there are lots on facebook already) but this is what we have been up to. . .
We went on a trip to Europe in the fall and were able to cruise around to a whole bunch of awesome cities for 5 weeks. We first flew to Copenhagen, Denmark where we stayed a night in the tiniest little hotel. We spent the little time we had walking around and riding the tour buses to see the city.

Our next stop was Oslo, Norway which was absolutely beautiful!

We also got to see the viking museum which was way cool!
And then we went to see the Fram museum which actually has the Fram ship inside the museum.
The next city on the agenda was Amsterdam, Holland which wasn't exactly what I expected it to be. It was much more dirty and less quaint than I thought it would be.
While we were in Amsterdam we visited the Anne Frank house, probably the highlight of the city but very sad.
We next stopped in London, England. There is so much to see in London, we did our best to see everything we could in the short amount of time we had.

The next place we stopped was a little French village called Honfleur. It was beautiful. Artists for centuries have been coming here to paint - makes me wish I was a painter!
Our next city was Lisbon, Portugal

Probably the coolest part was this old fortress we explored.
The next morning we woke up early on the cruise ship to catch a glimpse of this. . .

Barcelona, Spain was our next stop, probably one of my least favorite city we went to.

We next went to Monaco/Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo Casino. There were ridiculously nice cars parked out front and they won't even let you in the casino unless you are dressed up. This is where only the super rich people are allowed to lose their money :)
Next we explored the Cinque Terra in Italy. This area is so beautiful. There are five cities located up on the cliffs and you get from city to city by either walking or taking a boat.

Florence, Italy was our next stop.

This was lunch at the Yellow Bar which mom and I discovered when we were in Florence in 2006. We loved it so much we couldn't miss it this time around!
This time we also climbed the bell tower which was a good workout and a great view of the dome and the city.
Next we spent 3 days in Rome, Italy. I love this city! There is so much to see, you could spend weeks there and never run out of awesome, ancient sites and artifacts.

Pompeii, Italy was our next city. I was really excited to stop here!

These were so crazy. You really could see the expression on their faces and everything!
We next went to Santorini, Greece. This was such a fun stop! We went to see the white washed, blue roofs that are so famous.
The most fun part about this stop was that we rented 4-wheelers and got to ride around the whole island. It was so beautiful and so fun!
We went to Ephesus, Turkey next. I also loved this place. It was so cool to experience the different culture of Turkey.
This is in front of the house that supposedly mother Mary lived in after Jesus died and until she died. Who knows. . . it was cool anyway.

Next was Istanbul, Turkey. There are so many cool mosques in Istanbul!

We stopped in Athens, Greece next.

Next was a few nights in Venice, Italy.

Our last stop was Paris, France where we stayed for a couple nights before flying home.

We also spent a day at Versaille which was beautiful.
We had so much fun on this trip! It was a wonderful experience and I'm so grateful that I have such a hard working husband that is able to provide for all our needs and so much more! Love you babe! Thanks for the great vacation!
