3 Years

This weekend is our anniversary! Time has flown by, I can't believe it's really been three years already!

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband.

We've learned so much about each other these last three years and I've grown to love Lane even more than the day I married him. There are so many things that I love about him.
I love:
~The way he holds me and makes everything alright on a bad day.
~How hard he works to take care of me.
~His kisses.
~The way he sings when the radio is on and sounds better than the original.
~How he makes me laugh.
~The way he makes me feel beautiful without saying a thing.
~When he tells me I'm beautiful, even when I most certainly don't feel it.
~How patient he is.
~The way he still opens doors for me.
~That he laughs at my jokes, no matter how dumb they are.
~How he always puts me first, always.
~The way my hand fits in his.
~The way he tells me he loves me.
And most importantly:
I love the way he's mine.

We've been so blessed these last three years. I can't believe how much has happened! In the last three years we've:

*Lived in 4 different states (Utah, Colorado, New York, & Texas), 5 different cities (Logan, Kaysville, Denver, Rochester, & Houston) and 6 different apartments!
*Been on tons of vacations including:
~2 cruises to Mexico
~2 cruises to the Caribbean
~New York City
~Palmyra, NY
~Niagara Falls
~Washington DC
~Boston, Massachusetts
~Nauvoo, Illinois
~San Diego (twice)
~Lake Powell
*Changed our majors at least once
*Changed schools once
*Laughed a lot
*Kissed even more
*Had lots of ups, a few downs, and many in betweens
*Fallen deeper in love

I can't wait to see what the next three years will bring. I have no doubt that they will be even more wonderful than the last three. One thing is for sure:

Our fairy tale is just beginning.
I love you Lane.

Will jump for food.

This summer we decided it was time to expand our small family. . . so we bought a Betta fish! We named him Noah and we love him so much. Surprisingly he has quite the personality. He loves to stare at us when we are next to his bowl and he'll follow us from side to side. He also LOVES eating, which makes him an even more perfect addition to our family:). We've discovered that there is nothing Noah won't do for food.

Every time we hold his food above his bowl he jumps up, trying to get it. A few times he's even caught the food in the air. What can I say? He's one determined and talented fish and we love him.

A Few More Summer Pictures

Galveston
We went down to the Galveston coast one Sunday to check things out.

Over priced lunch.... but well worth it!

An Unusual Combination

On our way home, after visiting the Blue Bell Factory, we stopped at this little, unusual place. It was a farm of miniature horses that were taken care of by nuns.

The horses were very small and cute, it was especially fun for the little kids that we had with us.

The Monastery
This was right next to the farm.

This article was framed on one of the walls in the barn. I had to sneak a picture of it because it just makes me laugh.

Houston

This summer we have been living in Houston, Texas! So far it's been a lot of fun. We've made a lot of friends and had a really great time. Here are just a few pictures of some of the things we've done. I've got a lot more that I'll put up soon!

Blue Bell Tour
My new favorite is Blue Bell ice cream. It is the best ice cream I've ever had. While our husbands were out working a whole bunch of us wives went to the Blue Bell Factory and took a tour and got free samples. It was a lot of fun!

Girls Night!
A few of our husbands drove out to a city a couple hours away to test it out for the rest of the office and they stayed over night. SO since we were all scared to spend the night along we had a nice dinner together, stayed up late talking and . . .
had a sleepover!!
It was a fun night, despite missing our husbands.

We've been having a great time out here and hopefully I'll get some more pictures posted soon!

Family Vacation

In February we went on another cruise with our family. Here are some pictures, just a few of the highlights.

On The Ship
Two good looking brothers about to head out a cause some trouble.

We have such a wonderful family!

Parents and Grandparents.
It was so fun to have Grandma and Grandpa with us on this trip.

In case you can't tell, that is a wrap on Lane's ankle. If only they had placed one of these signs at the top of the stairs where he fell....

Love this guy.

And these three. The best little siblings in the world.
They sure make life fun!

Don't mess with this guy on the mini golf course.

Just had to put this picture up. I think the look on her face is one of excitement.... but I'm not sure.

CABO SAN LUCAS
Heading to shore for a day of fun!

Love you Mom & Dad!

Lovers Beach.
Not quite so romantic as it sounds.

Feeding the birds. Apparently they love french fries. These ones are both diving for the piece Nate threw out.

MAZATLAN
(or Matzalan if you're grandma)
Beautiful Cathedral

Road side entertainment

Beach fun

IXTAPA

Oh yeah baby!

One of the most beautiful beaches ever! Too bad it rained all afternoon:(

PUERTO VALLARTA
(this one didn't come any easier to grandma. . . I wonder if anyone could tell that we were tourists?)
We spent the afternoon at a hotel right on the beach. They had the most beautiful pool and it literally was right on the beach!

Mom & Dad relaxing in the pool

Josh coming in for landing on the parasail.

Nate getting ready for take off

Success!

It was another great trip with the family!
